We don't brew many Triple IPAs. Entropy Reigns Supreme is where we push the boundaries on hoppy ales at Threes. They say you can tell a lot about a brewery by its pilsner, because you can't hide flaws. We think the same can be said of big beers; there's so much going on that it's difficult to brew them "smaller", which, to us, means keeping it refreshing, smooth and balanced without sacrificing style. We at Threes strive for those characteristics in all of our beers, no matter if it's 3% or 10%. We want the last 5 oz. of each can to be just as appetizing as the first few sips.
This year's batch of Entropy is completely different than years past. It's a dialed up version of our flagship IPA (Logical Conclusion) jam-packed with the same hops: Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. Despite the sheer weight of the ingredients, the beer tastes smooth, perfectly balanced, with an amazing aroma that ranges from mango to pineapple to grassy resin to peach. It's two cans of Logical packed into one deliciously drinkable can. It's both crispy and creamy and crazy hazy. It comes around only once a year. Grab it while you can.
